Have been happily able to "Print" to an Adobe PDF printer definition
for months on my laptop and all of a sudden (in the throws of a release,
of course), this quit working. Only out of FrameMaker--I can still
generate a PDF from other applications (for example, Word and Excel).

And yet another question for Framers. My TOC problem "seems" to be taken care
of, and the transparent background for graphics question is on the back burner
because now there's another "hot" issue: page appearance.

I have noticed the same problem with the Para Designer getting stuck.
However, I have found that I do not need to restart FM. I just close the
Para Designer (delete its tab from the pod), and then re-open it. Still a
pain, but not as much of one. It would be nice to get the bug fixed, though.

Hi Kenpo,
I would probably add a small text frame directly to the anchored frame with
the information. I would use FrameScript, which would automate the
numbering, positioning of the text frame, and expanding the height of the
anchored frame to accommodate the text frame.

Hi Framermeisters,
I inherited 7.2 files that I updated to Tech Suite. When I update the
book I get "Color definition for RGB 051,000,153 is inconsistent" for 4
of the 20 document files. Does anyone know how or if I should resolve
this?
Thanks,
Mary

Hey Fellow Framers,
I was just teaching some folks how to use FM 9 (on Win XP) when we ran
into some interesting problems. The first is one I've mentioned before
in this forum, although now I can re-create it. It has to do with the
Paragraph Designer getting stuck. You can click on the icons to

Tom,
If it's a one-shot task, a quick and dirty option would be to do your sorting
in Excel then import the Excel file into Framemaker.
