First, I'd verify that you've applied all three FM 9 patches.
Then I'd save one or two of the files out as 9 MIF, open those, and
save them as 9 .fm files to see if that changes anything. I've run
into a number of small glitches when bringing older files forward...
and those 6 files are vintage.

specify your patch level Help > About.
The Acrobat updates page may be something for you to look at.
Because you're running XP, be sure to install the Microsoft Hotfix for
PS printers, including Acrobat:

database set up, you make a (typically) SQL call to whatever db object
you want to include/import. And it pops. This is the way most FM shops
would paginate catalogs -- making calls to different text and image
objects in the dat

the document view? If you work in Structure View, you can collapse or expand
all elements down to a certain level (hold down Shift while you click the minus
or plus sign in SV), then drag and drop chunks, o

color and underlining and then a second format that was identifical
except for an indent and a bullet. Unfortunately, with the second
format, both bullet symbol and hyperlink alike were underlined. I'm sure

Color > Definitions for a book (FM7)? They seem to be a subset of the
colour definitions of any of the individual files, but deleting a colour
definiton from the book does not cause it to be deleted from the
