Hi Pat,
The best FrameMaker book on the market for Structured FrameMaker are
Scriptorium's books written by Sarah O'Keefe.
Scriptorium continues to have interest in both their Frame 7 and 8 books for
both unstructured and structured FrameMaker.

Last time I used Flare it did not do that. Don't remember what
version. Thanks for the info.

Interesting article today in the Silicon Valley Insider:

It's nominally about Adobe's mobile strategy, but applies
to the entire corporate culture and how it has changed.

I personally think it's still single-sourcing, since you're compiling from
the Frame source files. The output is multiple HTML files (since I create
WebHelp), but I don't think that's different than any other WebHelp system.

There is an auto-import function in Flare that automatically reimports the
Frame files when you tell Flare to create the output. It does take awhile to
convert the Frame files to MIF and then to HTML, so it's a good time to get
a beverage.

Hi Art.
I downloaded the hotfix, but that didn't help. If I print to PS and then
run it through the Distiller it works fine. So that's what I'll do for
now...
Thanks for your advice though!

That's simply not true about Flare. I'm compiling a help file right now with
Flare that was authored in Frame. It's quite easy to set up a project to
auto-import Frame content from Flare, and Flare adds a menu to Frame so that
you can create or import projects.

OK, so when you update the Frame file outside of Flare, Flare
automatically gets the changes or do you have to import the Frame file
again?

Ed, conceptually, do you have two sources of content in that scenario?
