RE the good ole days when men were men and software was innovative.
What we're witnessing is a natural part of any innovative curve. Back when
FrameMaker first made waves, you could subscribe to three different magazines
that printed monthly articles about new and interesting software.
What about taking this one step back? I'm the lone writer in my organization
and any innovations have to be led by me with a damn good case for ROI, e.g.,
moving from Word to FrameMaker was a 2 year process (budget is the main reason
I have to over-prove my case).

Is there a utility/plug-in that does book-level searches for tracked
edits in FM 8? It's darned annoying to have to open and search each file
separately.
