Thanks to all who took time to answer. It turns out that Dave S. had the winner. I was able to create a new target in Flare that published the entire project to Frame, creating a book, ToC and index on the way through. It's not perfect perfect but has me way ahead of where I thought I was going to

I should have included the fact that my documents have all been created in FM9. I moved from MS Word to Frame - but I didn't import the data. I saved it all to text files, copied in the text from Notepad then formatted the FM9 docs from scratch. I had no intention of importing any invisible Word
