Fellow Framers, Structured Frame 8, on XP, been clicking along just fine, but now experiencing a quirk I've seen in years past. I am the only one working on these documents, so I assume it's a pilot error on my part. What causes a table element to appear out of order in the Cross-Reference

Why does it matter what order is used in the Cross-Reference dialog? That list is merely a convenience to authors when when new cross-references are being added to a document. You are the only person who ever sees that list, and its order has absolutely no effect on the final document.
