I tried the four tools available as freeware on my installation: FM10,
Window 7 64bit and got these results (with minimal testing):
HuntOverrides.dll, pg_whopper.dll, toc_breaker.dll and markerWorker
installed
in C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\AdobeFrameMaker10\fminit\Plugins folder
This is a very frustrating thing.
My find command does no longer find what it's supposed to!
I've checked all the settings in the Find box, like case, and book, and
simple stuff.
Sometimes it finds half the instances, but not all. sometimes it finds it
if I put the cursor on the same page.
FrameMaker's find function won't find text within a variable, inside a
text inset, or conditionalized text that is hidden. It also won't find,
for example, text containing a non-breaking space, if you search for a
regular space. Here's a link that might help you:
