I wonder how many other Framers work with MindTouch?
Frankly, my contact there does not seem to be at all familiar with Mif2Go,
which seems a shame considering what they want to accomplish!

I have a number of text files that came from Ventura Publisher that look
like this:
@REF = II.3:2
The means are e. to understand after the
@BOOK = T-4
@REF = IV.2:6
is much e. than trying to think against it.

The best way to deal with Ventura to Frame is to put RTF in the middle.
Do you have anything other than text files? Beginning with Ventura 7,
you would need a .VP file in which to load the text file (and from which
to export RTF). For earlier versions of Ventura, you would need (at
least) a .ch

I've had similar problems with FM10. Sometimes the problem is that
objects are appearing behind other objects (usually a document window,
sometimes another pod) instead of coming to the front. Try resizing
the document window or moving it around to see if there are things
hiding behind it.

I have a client trying to install the trial version of Framemaker 10 on her mac
in a Parallels/Windows 7 enviroment. She is running OS10.7 and the latest
edition of Parallells.
All she sees when she looks in the downloaded folder is a folder called deploy,
a folder called packages, a folder call
What browser did she use to download the installer? Adobe recommends Firefox
due to the size involved.

Ah, good old Ventura Publisher! Those were the days. We have used Maker
Markup Language (MML) for this type of conversion jobs. We just opened the
VP text files in Notepad++ or EditPad Lite and replaced the VP markup (@REF
=) with maker markup (). Then, we simply imported the MML files i
