Even in Frame 10, the Special menu isn't available when you've got a book file
active. Try the View menu instead. It's got the Track Text Edits option you're
after.
You might need to select all the files in the book. Or might not - just raising
the possibility.

How to I get a Variable, Marker or Variable, Hypertext of someone's
email address to show up as a clickable link in a pdf?
None of the command options under Variable, Hypertext look reasonable.
I think I want
mailto:t...@bstw.com
but what goes in front of it?
Thanks.
Thanks Anjaneai---
At least in FM9, the Special menu is not available for books--- only for
individual documents.

Hi Grant,
Please check if it gives you Accept All under Special Menu -- Track Text
Edits.
This ended up in my Junk folder for some reason so I thought I would repost
it since Maxwell has had posts that folks don't see (perhaps for the same
reason).

As I recall, it works the same way as a Hypertext link to a URL basically - so
use that option and provide the exact text you show below
The computer's OS should interpret that as a request to fire up the default
e-mail client.
