The Windows shortcut is Alt+03F5. http://www.fileformat.info/tip/microsoft/enter_unicode.htm The FM12 docs suggest that you should be able to use any character from any font that's installed on your system. In Windows, figuring out whether a particular character is actually installed and if so w

Hi Salome, I can use FrameMaker's Character Palette to insert a special character in text, but I can't use it to insert a special character in an equation. And Alt + 238 gives me the standard epsilon character; I need the lunate version. Thanks for the suggestions. Martha On Fri, Feb 17, 2017

U+03F5? http://www.fileformat.info/info/unicode/char/03f5/index.htm Maybe you need to install a font with that glyph? The docs refer to Mathematical Pi and Universal Greek. If you have a font with that glyph, your fonts could be corrupted somehow. On Fri, Feb 17, 2017 at 10:56 AM, M Lee wrote:

You can find it by navigating to the character pallet. File > Utilities > Character Pallet. Also, you can enter ALT + 238 on your keyboard to get it too. -Original Message- From: Framers [mailto:framers-bounces+sabungu=tycoint@lists.frameusers.com] On Behalf Of M Lee Sent: Friday, Fe

Yes, altering text frame size is a high-maintenance error-prone strategy. One thing I've done, when really fine control is needed, is to work with authors to get permission to edit text so it fits layout better. Depending on the material, subject matter experts, perhaps even lawyers and marketers
