I still use FrameScript, and I can assure you that I have to
register FrameScript again after each update.
FrameScript adds a line in
c:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe FrameMaker 2020\maker.ini
and not in
c:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\FrameMaker\16\maker.ini
Each update overrides
Lynne...
Some updates have replaced the INI, but I don't recall it happening
often (maybe I've blocked those memories). I'd switch to the "user" area
if Adobe provided a "$USERDIR" variable for structured applications. If
you move the apps into the user area, you have to hard-code the path in
