Hi Michael,
I've never bothered with guides in Frame. I use the Object Properties

Kanti,
Regarding the second question, I think HTML Help Workshop may help you
and your developers hook up the Help files. Search for that on the MSDN

I tried putting a watermark in a file once, but it messed up my monitor. First
there was a loud sizzle and then a small explosion. All for naught. When I
opened the file on another computer, the watermark was not there.
Now I just try to imitate the watermark electronically. Real water doesn't

Hi Roger,
I found some missing fonts in an imported graphic recently. The graphic
was a PDF file that had been cropped prior to import. The missing font
was in the cropped out portion. I was able to open the PDF in
Illustrator and delete al the stuff that wasn't supposed to be there
anyway. Voila!

Dave,
I wonder if this might be the one situation where a "B" flow would be
useful.
Since the student's book is already in FrameMaker, and since their
content would probably change more often than the trainer's, this
solution would require two books. Once the content for student's book is

Apologies in advance if this message is posted twice.
I wonder if any of you have used Microsoft's Content Management Server,
or have considered it when researching a CMS solution.
Plusses? Minuses? Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks,

Michael,
I second Rick's opinion: Import by Reference is the way to go.
I've had good results saving PowerPoint slides as *.wmf. Visio also
saves in that format. Unfortunately I had to save a native format
version of the graphic as well as the *.wmf in another folder for Frame
Import.

We've heard a lot about how much better FM is than IL, and I don't doubt
any of it. Great points.
But wouldn't the IL side of the house be building a case as well? I'm
curious what justification they claim for their cause.

Heather,
How about creating a paragraph format that goes across all columns and framing
your tables with that. You could anchor the table to the first one, follow it
with an empty carriage return and move on with the flow.
