Rick, I purchased a Magnavox VCR to DVD recorder a couple months ago. Even though I have not used it for that purpose, the manual "claims" that a menu can be created. I also have a video editing package from Roxio that allows me to do some pretty cool editing and menu creation. Thanks, Vince Hass
