conditionalized
If using structured Frame is not an option, you might explore having a
QuickStart template and a Full Manual Template that make the headings appear
correct without actually changing the para tags.

If by csv you mean Comma Separated Values, you should be prompted to convert
to a table when using the File > Import > File command.

How about Printing to the Adobe PDF driver?
If you can get the individual PDF's produced easily then the "stitching
together" should be simple with the Create PDF from Multiple Files command
within Acrobat.

A common solution would be to create a font (Fontographer, etc.) that
contains your graphics assigned to individual characters. Use the
appropriate letter, apply the character format, and you are done. (assuming
you can output the font wherever needed...)

Have you considered applying a unique tag to the anchor para, mapping it to a
css style?
I'm not a css code jockey, but you should then be able to override the
placement inherited from FM

Agreed! Importing articulating 3d for print is beyond overkill.
However, you do have the ability to produce the appropriate bitmap of the
appropriate rotation and view without going back to the modeling program &
exporting from there.

can surface map, articulate, disassemble, then capture whatever format you
want (including the articulating 3D object) into FM 8.
