I just survived a computer refresh (first in 4 years), and find myself in
the last push of a project for which I used FrameMaker 10.
I found my path past the "software has expired" bug, but now I find that my
shortcuts are all gone.
I recall that the last time I upgraded Frame, the shortcut

Looking at doing a (forced) computer upgrade and I seem to recall some threads
concerning this subject.
Am I correct in remembering that Frame 9 is 64-bit compliant, but Frame 7.1 is
not?
Thanks

s and appendices now produce CMP files.
I'm not sure just what the problem source was, but it probably is related to
the issue with saving the fm file that had OLE graphics. For now, I'm able to
produce the redline my client wants, so we're both happy.
Thanks to all for the advice!

. Print the whole thing to a PDF.
I s this the best way to create a redline? Something very much like this has
worked for me inthe past, but it is pretty labor intensive (even more so when
FM internal errors gum up the works).
Thanks again,

Perhaps you could share with Milan how you ended up resolving your issue. I
expect I'll run into this again in the future, and next time I may need a more
robust solution.

Thanks to Rick Q, Steve R, Fred R, and Richard C who all chimed in with an
excellent solution. I'll PDF the Word files and import the pages 1 by 1 into
an empty FM appendix file.
I love this list!!!

I just select all of the text and then
Paste it into a blank Appendix?
Sorry if these are obvious questions, but I need to NOT spend time
experimenting if I can help it.
Thanks in advance.

How does Frame put these in? Thanks much. I'm pretty sure the customer
wants only the "real" changes marked before they submit it to the FDA.
