Yes, there will always be certain circumstances where size matters; but for
most of us, it simply is what it is.
It's not how big your file is. It's what you do with it.

When you do a server-based shared review, each reviewer's comments are actually
stored separate from the review PDF, in separate XML files that are somehow
linked to the PDF document. That’s why you can have multiple reviewers

Wow, yes, huge!
If you are working over a network, you might be running into a timeout problem.
If that's the case, try copying the source files to your local machine and
creating the PDF there.

Have you tried unstraddling the rows, then applying the conditions you want,
then re-straddling?
A workaround trick could be to unstraddle everything then tweak the table cell
borders to make the table appear as the straddled table you intend.

Hi Rebecca,
Have you tried working in .mif files instead of .fm files and only saving to
.fm when you're done for the day?
When we have some conditional text problems that crash FM, a mif wash of the
files often helps, and sometimes fixes the problem. If yours is a bug, then

I would be really happy to be completely wrong on this. Now I'm just sorry my

If they are listening and responding now (I don't think they were in the,
perhaps distant, past), kudos to them.

Hi Anita,
I lurk-and-skim the FM list. Run into this a LOT.
What it means - I think - is that you have something conditionalized "funny".
For example, there is an errant paragraph mark/pilcrow that's hidden normally
but conditionalized. When you turn on or off the conditions in this case,

I think the topic is of interest to a good portion of FM users, even if it's

Looking at the dates on my Workspace files, I would guess that .fws is the

We ran into the same problem when one of our writers accidentally was given a

no problems.

rest of us. Doesn't really solve your problem,
