Thanks for the response. Part of the problem is that both text frames and graphic frames use modal Properties dialogs. This means I'm not able to save a workspace while they are on-screen. This is unlike the images themselves, and anchored frames, which use modeless dialogs; I can leave those

I want the Properties to display whenever I select a frame. I don't want to press Shft+F6 every time. Ideally I'd like a dialog to always be on the screen, passively displaying the properties as I select each frame. Is there a mod/script/etc for this? Thanks, Doug
