Fred did a great job of explaining why the ampersand (and some other characters) can create problems. On a side note, a few years back, I had a client's files that I was creating an EPUB from and it would error out after a while. Drove me crazy for a while until I realized that they used periods

This worked last week and does not work now Hello everyone, Hope you are all keeping well and safe, I hit a problem. I had a MiniToc that provided hyperlinks at the beginning of each main topic in the help file. It was fine for the past year, and then something stopped working.
