Did you download framemaker_help.pdf from https://www.adobe.com/go/learn_fm16_ug_pdf_en ? I have gigabit internet, so downloading was almost instant, but it took two or three minutes to open in Acrobat Pro DC, and 20 minutes later it still hasn't finished saving as reduced file size.
