Hi All: Frame 9 running on XP. I have a section titled "Basic Windows* Terminology" where the * (asterisk) is a footnote. In the PDF bookmark, only "Basic Windows" appears. The asterisk and the word "Terminology" disappear. And in the TOC, the asterisk is missing. It only says "Basic Windows

There is a well-known Windows XP bug that causes dropped text in PDFs. It affects all PostScript printers, including Adobe PDF. IF you haven't already installed it, get the hotfix here: http://support.microsoft.com/?id=952909 Mike Wickham
