You may have to check for conditional text. Revision bars are often
set in some conditions. You may have to change that directly or just
make the "offending" paragraph (object) unconditional.
Also change bars may be the result of an element set to display the
change bar, so if these documents are
Can't help on RoboHelp, but for the change bars, check your paragraph styles
don't have change bars set. It's on the "Default Font" tab of the paragraph

Another thought...is there a character style with an "as is" setting for the
change bar? I've had some "fun" recently when I couldn't get things to work
like I thought and that was the problem.

turned them off. Edits immediately bring change bars. Can anyone help me
