If I am changing the paper size in my documents from letter to A4 which things
should I be aware of.
I am changing paper size, and then I suppose margins too.
What are recommended margins for A4?

I forget what the magic dimensions are, but there is a set of settings
for text frames that a few companies use that work, unchanged, on both
sizes of paper. Makes writing and pagination a bit easier because the
text layout and page count stay the same on both Letter and A4.

larger for top and bottom than so often seen in letter size documents.
