You can keep the Paragraph Catalog open. Formats Paragraphs Catalog
Hi, guys...I'm doing some reformat-intensive work and I find myself
pressing F9 over and over to display and apply paragraph formats. When I
select the format, the list goes away.
Is there a way of detaching the list and have it stay open?

If you're using FrameMaker 12, then add the paragraph catalog to the pod.
Click Format Paragraphs Catalog. It will be automatically added to the
pod. Thereafter, if you want the catalog

All that does is display a button that when pressed, drops down the list.
F9 does the same thing. I want the para list permanently displayed and expanded.
