Deirdre, Doens't renaming Word's default Heading# styles just to accomodate hinky numbering kind of defeat the purpose of using the default headings to easily generate TOCs and using outline view (well, that is one thing that is missing in FM!)? Leah Smaller Technical Communicator Certified

Hi: I've had a number people ask for the workshop, and I've sent it on. The workshop is for formatting Headings 1 through 9. I will be writing up the directions for formatting other levels, such as 1., (1), a., (a), etc. The concepts are exactly the same, so if you get the Heading 1 - 9 logic, y
