The other problem has been my Acrobat X Pro installation becoming
corrupted. Sometimes it just won't start, so I can't open a PDF at
all. Distiller disappears too. Then the Adobe PDF printer disappears,
so I can't create a PDF either. A few rounds of repair/reinstall
later, it is still unstab
The Adobe PDF virtual printer is missing? That would indicate that
Acrobat is corrupted. I'd call tech support.
FrameMaker's save as / print to PDF won't work right (if at all) when
something other than Adobe PDF is selected as the printer.

Why feel bad about criticizing FM9? The UI makeover was incompetent
and riddled with bugs that have not been fixed. I'd use FM8 rather
than FM10 if I had a copy.

I love the XML features of FM11, which was the real reason why I bought
it for use at home. At work I have a subscription for TCS4. I've
experienced some problems too:
