In FM 7.2, is it possible to use a variable in the following locations? 1. Within the text of an index marker? 2. As the directory path of a text inset or a graphic? The purpose is single-sourcing. I want to store the name of a product in a variable. I want the index entries, the screen captures

Hi David... Neither of those are possible with "default" Frame. We do have a plugin, MarkerTools, that lets you use variables within markers .. http://www.leximation.com/tools/info/markertools.php That's an interesting idea of changing the path for references based on a variable's value .
