Frameworkers, Good morning. I wanted to pass along a little information about a special engagement with the Estonian animator Priit Pärn. With the help of the Estonian Consulate, Eesti Joonis Studio, Mono No Aware, and Spectacle Theater I've been able to arrange for Priit's first visit to New York since the 1980's to present a program of his post-soviet era films. If you are interested in animation or have friends in the greater NYC area/East Coast, this is well worth the trip out to Brooklyn. Tickets to the screening are only $5. There will be an exhibition catalog printed as well, with excerpts from the Q & A sessions at each screening, and the opportunity for input from other animators, plus- limited hand-silkscreened posters.
