Hi, Yes, the ESC is the preferred bulb, (thus, the subject line of my email) and it appears the ELJ is an acceptable substitute. I haven¹t tried either of those. I did buy 4 ESC bulbs from replacementlightbulbs.com in North Carolina, and we shall see if that comes through. Best, Adam On
