This is what I do / did for semester one. Project one:one week, one minute, one
shot, no sound. Project two: one week, two shots, and so on (including, or not,
shot one from the previous project, building up to more complex structures.
Drawing on film early on in the semester. A B&W project etc.

Can someone recommend the best workflow for edited B+W reversal to positive
"release print" ? This is just for some home movies I am cutting together,
nothing too fancy, no sound. I'd just like to have a projection print so
I'm not screening the original.

I would recommend creating an inter-negative using Kodak 7234 and then make a
print from this inter-negative using 7203. I have done this myself using a
variety of tools. Do you do any hand processing? Do you have access to an
optical printer? Better yet a 16mm steenbeck would work as

It’s a real problem. Kodak screwed all of us lovers of B&W reversal when they
discontinued 7361, a great film stock with really silvery blacks and grays.
There are no reversal print stocks of any kind that I know of, unless some lab
is willing to experiment and positive stock as rever

I am not the original poster but...
If I shot it with lab intermediate stock, it _would_ be having an
interneg made, just one that was less sharp.

inexpensive really good film cameras have gotten.
You can find a decent 16SR2 with everything but a lens for $2500. And you can
probably sell it when you don’t need it for not much less.
