Just this afternoon, I received the shocking and sad news that Howard Guttenplan, the long term director of the Millennium Film Workshop passed away February 23, 2015. He was laid to rest at Calverton National Cemetery in Long Island. Howard was a complicated person. Keeping an organization

Truly a sad day for the field. Howard was a great programmer and it seemed to me he always tried not to be called a curator. He gave me my first solo show in the early 80's and has been one of the few supporters of my work throughout these years. I am truly sorry to hear this. Dominic Angerame

The UCLA Film Television Archive just had a three month series that was basically what you are looking at doing. I suggest you look at that program and see if any interests you, as it was pretty thorough (although I¹m sure not complete, it¹s hard to imagine anyone doing more than this). You
