If you would like to continue to use FCPX, it will edit, render, and export 4K
footage. Compressor was provided 4K codecs at least a year ago.

Julie Taymour's "Frida" features a passage of Frida Kahlo surviving the
accident via stop motion animation provided by the brothers quay.
Cronenberg's Naked Lunch, probably some of his other work too but those
cockroach typewriters can't be beat.

I see HD being distributed on VOD services (video on demand) where the buyer
downloads the film, paying an extra buck or two for the HD version of that is
important to them.

is single-tasking. I've seen digital work sabotaged by a Windows OS cry for
software update in the gallery. . .
Size makes physical installation more fun/interesting in a gallery space as
well. It can be piggybacke
Regular video editing programs do you not see the video data file as "frame

changes to make to the video codec -a bundle of rules driving playback. When
you choose to export the video file, the changes are made.

It's funny, I've learned the most in terms of creative skills and art making
from ppl whose passion has a curmudgeonly streak, one earned from hard
experience with the work. That's why I like this listserv.
Corollary - If my first concern is my own comfort, why did I become an artist?
