I think the polyester black is just as black as the acetate black. If he wants almost black but not completely black, he could try making some greys with a white card. Fogged B&W film is very, very black. Fogged color film isn't quite as black. --scott

Dear frameworkers, A friend wants to have some black inserts in his Super-8 films, but he doesn't want an opaque black nor to block light completely, which I presume would be what you get from black leader on acetate. Am I right recommending polyester base black leader, or do you think he will get

Dear friends, A friend is interested in having some black inserts in his Super-8 films, but he doesn't want an opaque black nor to block light completely, which I presume would be what you get from black leader on acetate. Am I right recommending polyester base black leader, or do you think he wil
