 Good afternoon. 
 I know many of you are seasoned filmmakers, but I wanted to pass along the 
workshop offerings of MONO NO AWARE for your consideration.   Please forward 
this listing to any interested students, friends and colleagues.
 Since beginning the MNA workshop series in 2009, we've been working hard to 
develop our program and offerings of analog filmmaking techniques all taught by 
experienced local filmmakers.
 MONO NO AWARE workshops include Kodak film stock, Access to camera equipment, 
Processing, Editing equipment, an HD transfer of the finished work, a FREE 
screening party for participants & friends, Online hosting of the final film at 
our Vimeo+ Channel, and waivers to submit your work to festivals around the 
world.
 Between July and September 2012 we will offer the following workshops: 
 INTRO TO 16 MM FILMMAKING  HAND PROCESSING BLACK AND WHITE REVERSAL FILM  
SUPER 8 MM FILMMAKING  2-D ANIMATION ON 16 MM FILM  HAND PROCESSING COLOR 
NEGATIVE FILM  ADVANCED 16 MM TECHNIQUES  DIRECT FILMMAKING / ANIMATION ON FILM 
RECORDING SOUND FOR FILM ALTERNATIVE PROCESSING TECHNIQUES   All workshops are 
offered at our host space the Center for Performance Research, 361 Manhattan 
Ave and Negativland Darkroom 1717 Troutman and are VERY reasonably priced for 
materials provided and friendly services rendered. 
 You can watch some of the films created in our workshop series at the links 
above OR if you are free this evening and in NYC...  One of our recent 16mm 
workshop participants from March, Chloe Zimmerman, completed a film entitled 
"Here Now Be Here Now Be Here".  Through the workshop she was able to enter the 
Brooklyn Film Festival and her first film ever was named an official selection. 
 It's screening this evening at 9 pm: HERE NOW BE HERE NOW BE HERE by Chloe 
Zimmerman - Experimental Film @ Brooklyn Film Festival  I'll be there in
