Looping super-8 isn't so hard without a "looper" (we used to find these
on eBay, but not so much anymore), if you remember that the film always
has to have a certain amount of easy tension. You can create a track by
using metal sewing machine bobbins (which happen to be 8mm) and small
springs for varying the tension without breakage. You can run it to the
ceiling or on different stands, or make a board with an up and down
zig-zag pattern not unlike film processing machines in the lab. I'm sure
you can find examples online.
