            Bug ID: 196112
Summary: Cannot connect to sshd after updating from 10.0 to
                    10.1
           Product: Base System
           Version: 10.1-RELEASE
          Hardware: amd64
                OS: Any
            Status: New
          Severity: Affects Some People
          Priority: ---
         Component: misc
          Assignee: freebsd-bugs@FreeBSD.org
          Reporter: r...@rcousins.com

Cannot connect to server via ssh from any other machine (have tried various
versions of ssh, putty, etc.). Server always complains 'Unsupported hostkey
type 67207904 [preauth]' while client just sees 'connection closed by UNKNOWN'
or similar.

Server claims to be 'sshd version OpenSSH_6.4p1_hpn13v11 FreeBSD-20131111,
OpenSSL 1.0.1e-freebsd 11 Feb 2013'

This configuration worked great until I ran freebsd-update to move from 10.0 to
10.1. All other system services appear to be fine.

Here is a sample test run of sshd (connected to port 44) via local lan:
