I am looking for URLs discussing including GPL and other licenses in print compilations. Or share your advice here...
Over 95 of the compilation is BSD licensed but some content is covered under GPL, IBM, and other licenses. All content is clearly separated. For example, the GPL indicates controling collective works. but also says an aggregation is not covered. (See http://www.oslawblog.com/2004/11/gpl-and-compilations.html for an old discussion on this.) Can a printed compilation be considered a storage or distribution medium? I think so. The original content won't be modified and new content won't be derived from original content. _______________________________________________ freebsd-chat@freebsd.org mailing list http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-chat To unsubscribe, send any mail to "[EMAIL PROTECTED]"
