compile times (cc uses
/var/tmp for temporary files).
Use "-pipe" in your CFLAGS. You'll get even more speed than making
/var/tmp a MFS.

and make world again
(actually just make install in src/share/mk), all will be well. As
a workaround, echo 19990328 /var/db/pkg/.mkversion will work
equally fine.
CVSup'd RELENG_2_2 this afternoon, did make install in
/usr/src/share/mk. Still no good.
