Hm, actually this is a nanobsd script, tools/tools/nanobsd/nanobsd.sh.
The failing call is in install_etc().
By the way, I had to add -DDB_FROM_SRC to the 'make distribution' call
there, because otherwise it fails here
services_mkdb is taken from base system, and it indeed doesn't have
-l switch introduced by your commit.

I had the same problem with -CURRENT on i386 h/w.
After updating to the r258507 (git ecc1dc84), where the r258455 is
already reverted, it works again.
