Commenting it appeared not good, as at least mplayer doesn't sets channels
for AC3. That makes sound(4) use default 1 channel for AC3, that is
definitely not supported. I believe this should be better:

From that description I can conclude that you are passing through
compressed DTS-HD and TrueHD streams to the receiver. What are the bitrates
of streams you are playing? It looks like your receiver doesn't receives

What I've forgot is to allow 8ch format. :) Add the patch below.
Hope
sound(4) has no other limitations for it.

Hi,
2011/3/24 Freddie Cash fjwc...@gmail.com:
The hardware is fairly standard fare:
- SuperMicro H8DGi-F motherboard
- AMD Opteron 6100-series CPU (8-cores @ 2.0 GHz)
- 8 GB DDR3 SDRAM
- 64 GB Kingston V-Series SSD for the OS install (using ahci(4) and
the motherboard SATA controller)
patch works fine here on 8-STABLE.
my deadlock probleme seams to be corrected (after 6h of zfs receive +
