Hi,
in light of CVE-2015-7547 and various other security vulnerabilities,
is there any desire to keep the linux-f10-* ports? Last thing I heard
(few years back )is that there were some companies that wanted to hold
on to them (bapt?)
I marked most of those ports as FORBIDDEN once, but that was re

Hi,
here are some more patches, this time to stage

Hi,
in an effort to stage all USES=kmod ports, here is a patch to stage
emulators/virtualbox-ose-additions. Note that it also fixes installing
with DEBUG on, vboxvideo.ko.symbols is no longer built.
Is it OK to commit this?

Hi,
I went through the linux-f10 ports and noted the following old libraries
for which a newer version is already ported:
- x11-toolkits/linux-f10-gtk
- graphics/linux-f10-png10
- devel/linux-f10-libglade
- textproc/linux-f10-libxml
The first two are still in active use by other ports but the lat

Hi,
the expiration of x11-toolkits/qt33 made me look at its Linux
counterpart, which can be safely removed without any effects on other
ports. Both 'make index' and 'find /usr/ports -mindepth 2 -maxdepth 3
-name Makefile\* | xargs grep qt33' returned nothing after applying the
patch at [1] locally

Hi,
right now we have three Linux DRI ports around:
- graphics/linux-dri74 (Ubuntu 9.09)
- graphics/linux_dri (unknown, PORTVERSION 7.0)
- graphics/linux-f10-dri
Currently graphics/linux-dri74 is the default. I plan to modify
bsd.linux-apps.mk and bsd.port.mk to change this to linux-f10-dri, aft

Hi,
as part of the the "remove FC4 patch" (after 8.4 is out) I came across
net-im/linux-ymessenger, for which I propose the attached patch to
un-hardcode some dependencies.
Any objections? (the STRIP= line is now handled by USE_LINUX=yes)

Hi,
I have made a patch to clean up the old Linux ports (those that
expired together with FreeBSD 7) at [1]
Besides removing expired ports, it:
- - de-orbits support for Linux 2.4.2 (is that still available in the
kernel?)
[Mk/bsd.linux-apps.mk]

Hi,
since FreeBSD 7.X has reached its end of life, I plan to remove the
expired Linux ports for the old Linuxolator (depending on INDEX build
results) after an official annoucement that 7.X has expired has been
sent. From

Hi,
I like to deprecate and eventually remove www/linux-flashplugin9 since
it is unfetchable and has security problems. Attached is a proposed patch.
