Hello Everyone,
It's that time again, time to test another open-vm-tools update.
Everything is in basically the same place as last time.
The patch is here:
https://people.freebsd.org/~swills/open-vm-tools/open-vm-tools-10.1.5.diff
Note there are a good number of patches being renamed,

Thanks for your work!
I'm new to open-vm-tools, until now I always took the source from the
ESXi provided iso which contains vmware-freebsd-tools.tar.gz and
compiled modules under vmware-tools-distrib/lib/modules/source/
For stable/11, there's some adoption to d

Hi,
I'd like anyone possible to test an updated version of
emulators/open-vm-tools{,-nox11}. I have the patch here for those who
wish to build themselves:

Hello,
I run a FreeBSD CURRENT (r292778) amd64 in a VMware and have all ports
compiled from head too; the driver 'vmware' and 'vmouse' from the
xf86-driver ports are doing fine;
re/ the open-vm-tools I have two issues/questions:
1)
the /usr/local/bin/vmtoolsd is runnin
eeBSD specific. I found this message:
https://communities.vmware.com/message/2344237
Try the tools.conf change. Perhaps there's something we need to change in port?

Hello,
Has anyone else observed this behavior with open-vm-tools on 10-STABLE?

I just installed PC-BSD 9.1-RC2 and virtualbox 4.1.22. I then installed a vm
running FreeBSD 9.1-RC2. I installed the open-vm-tools from pkg.
The kernel modules wouldn't load at boot. Turns out the rc.d script runs a
binary called vmware-checkvm, which is supposed to return true if it
