Sorry, I've been meaning to get to this. I need to fix dc to properly
switch off on
Login as root, type "vipw" hich puts you into vi on thwe password file, and
change the root's shell to whatever you want (provided the path is legal).

Doh!! spent ages googling for the answer then found it
in 2mins of looking through

a FreeBSD 5.4 machine to pick them up, unfortunately I didn't
notice someone had put in a bad nfs mount in /etc/fstab
i.e. to a machine that no longer existed.
This prevented the server coming back onto the network
enough to fix the error

for this i writed `kldfind` and

Recently i have upgraded my box to 6.1-STABLE. Before i have had 6.0-STABLE.
I am running couple of jails on this box and right now something is messed
up with startup scripts or somewhere else.
Worst thing is that i can't stop them using rc.d/jail script:
