for a more comprehensive solution. I've implemented ipfw call from the
exactly the same thinking.

P.S. This is general principle, not only for docs - forcing user to do
something which could be already done by maintainer turns away from the
system many of them.

was the reason to rename? Isn't that a POLA violation for both

, are there pseudo-terminal names renamed in -CURRENT ? Why?
It is more cute to see ttyp0 or simply p0 on FreeBSD, compared to pts/1 on
Linux :)

me know what you think.
This is a good solution for our users caring about security. I think such
definitely should be incorporated into base system and server-side support be
provided at freebsd.org on official basis.

have O_IPPRECEDENCE which compiler could utilize while retainig more ABI

I can correct and extend your patch for DSCP/TTL/any bytes (not forgetting

That's all for today. Any comments, additions, corrections are welcome!

I'm going to write a proposal about a bunch of changes in ipfw2 (dynamic rules
and others) in a day or two and post it for architectural discussion to [EMAIL

Has it any chances to go to SoC 2008 ?

Could it be done a way which will allow user a simple configuration of filter
plly ordering? E.g. to specify that order must alway be ipfw, then pf.

So, livefs still contains base system available for install, just as disc1 ? :)
