some notes about getting dmd 2.048 running on FreeBSD (that's the
D 2.0 compiler + runtime + phobos libs), debugging with gdb head and
Doug Rabson's D-aware debugger ngdb [1], and my first (useful) hack,
a threaded .xz compressor, here:
