I had been using RADIX_MPATH as well until investigated that problem was in
RADIX_MPATH. Also router had crashes after changing route weight (-weight key).
The code is very unstable, therefore I had to switch to use FIBs.

Guys, I think somebody have broken something in IPFW/network stack and in the
last stable revision I am unable to disable IPFW nor in base system nor in
jail. As workaround is adding permission rule.
In release-10 this problem is absent.

Have you consider to use netmap-based ipfw instead pf in DDoS mitigation? I
think you should. And without any network ''haks'' like polling.
