Actually I did, If you look in this mailing list archive you'll find a
patch for it. I also proposed a patch for IPSEC (with IPCOMP) to work
with a gif tunnel.

Hi,
I configured a tunnel between two FreeBSD machines with IPSEC,
for just using the IPCOMP (without ESP and AH), but the
performance wasn't good.
Has someone configured a tunnel for only compressing data?
