My build on a recent snapshot of 8-CURRENT succeeds without any problems. There are different failures reported here, but some of them appear to be related to the vfs problem found in PRs kern/132620 and ports/132542, and solved a series of changes ending in subversion r190145 on 20 Mar. 2009.
