Is there any interest in getting this working on amd64?
I am attempting to migrate dozens of systems to amd64 (from i386) and need
this module for the automated installs that we do.

Please explain to me why the MANUAL_PACKAGE_BUILD is only set for amd64 or
sparc64? Seems to me it should be set or not set for *all* platforms. The
reason also seems bogus to me. Since the only place /etc/fstab is encoded is
