lyx 1.6 upgrade?

Dear port developers, is there a plan to upgrade the lyx15 port in the short term? The version in the stable port tree (1.5.6) is not compatible anymore with the later 1.6 version, which creates difficulties for opening the same document under different system. thanks for the great work giusepp
