I second that. I would really like to have a non devel port as well.
However I believe 2 versions would be an overkill. The last but one
should be a more feasible options.

Yes I have also noted that compiz is segfaulting. I have asked this in
#compiz-fusion in freenode. They also didn't have much clue. Maybe a
dump would be more useful?
Also you can commit it in the current state mentioning in pkg-message
about the crash?

version 0.5.2.
This is release is already available on the website and therefore I
would request you to kindly bump up the version of the ports.
